With the fastest client speeds and large access point capacity, along with local and network-wide spectrum reuse, Mimosa A5c delivers the highest scale possible for any unlicensed fixed wireless network.

See technical sheet

With client speeds capable of over 500Mbps and access point capacity of up to 1.5Gbps, it delivers the speeds consumers and business users demand at a fraction of the cost of delivering fiber to the premises.

The Mimosa N5-360 antenna is designed to pair exclusively with the Mimosa A5c access point and features quad-panel 180-degree overlapping vertical and horizontal antenna polarizations. The innovative antenna design increases performance by providing balanced dual-stream coverage across 360 degrees of azimuth, leveraging beamforming gain, and extends the range of MicroPoP deployments by up to 60% compared to Mimosa’s integrated A5 solution. In response to customer demand for an extended frequency range, the N5-360 operates from 4.9 GHz to 6.4 GHz without compromising performance.

Auto-provisioning together with the Mimosa installation application now dramatically reduces subscriber installation time, automates device provisioning, and enables seamless device integration into an ISP network.

The unique, high-precision GPS synchronization technology built into every Mimosa A5c allows all deployed devices to collaboratively synchronize across the network. This enables easy channel reuse to save valuable spectrum across the network, and together with Mimosa Cloud, it’s incredibly easy to deploy and optimize network spectrum usage and performance across all of your deployed devices.

Time Division Multiplexing (TDMA) access techniques have been shown to provide significant improvements when scaling the number of clients, compared to carrier sensing approaches used in Wi-Fi technologies. When further optimized by dynamic timeslot allocation and multi-user MIMO support in the downstream direction, and upstream timeslot allocation on client request, network scale, spectrum efficiency, and access point utilization are optimized to the maximum extent possible.
