The Garmin Dash Cam ™ Mini 2 is a compact car camera designed to provide simplicity and reliability. It offers 1080p video recording with a 140-degree field of view, which makes it suitable to capture high-quality images of events while driving or when the vehicle is parked. The device is small, about the size of a car key, and has voice control, which allows users to save videos or take photographs without manually entering them.
The Mini 2 can be powered through a 12-volt or wiring plug and includes a low profile adhesive support for easy installation. It also supports wireless connectivity, allowing users to review and manage recordings through the Garmin Drive application. In addition, the camera has a way «Parking guard» which is activated when an impact is detected, ensuring that incidents are recorded even when the vehicle is stopped.

When an incidence is detected, this camera automatically saves the video just before, during and after it happens to help capture the full recording of the event.
VOICE CONTROL
Keep your hands on the wheel and use the voice commands to tell your camera to save the video, start or stop the audio recording, take photos and more. Available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Swedish.
VAULT STRENGTHENING
The saved videos are stored safely and online in Vault, and can be accessed by the application Garmin Drive™ on your compatible smartphone. With a Wi-Fi connection® actively, share videos with other people by sending a link and a password.
STORAGE PLANS
Each video clip is saved in the Vault online for 24 hours from the time of loading. Garmin also offers extended storage plans through payment subscriptions. See storage plans.
LIVE VIEW
Use the Garmin Drive application on your compatible smartphone to access the camera remotely and watch Live View from anywhere when you are away from the parked vehicle. This requires an active Wi-Fi connection and constant power supply. Some vehicles will need the use of a Constant power cable (sold separately).
PARKING GUARD
This function monitors the activity around the parked vehicle and automatically warns you by video clip notifications to the Garmin Drive application on your compatible smartphone if an incident is detected. It requires an active Wi-Fi connection and a constant power supply through the constant power cable (sold separately).
DURADERO
This dash cam is designed to support hostile vehicle environments, including high temperatures and direct sunlight.
FURTHER USB PUERT
You will not have to choose between using the dash cam or loading your phone, as the included charger has an additional USB loading port, so you can do both.
