Mobile Radio IC-SAT100

Icom's IC-SAT100 allows users around the world to communicate with a group of PTT radios by just pressing a button. To do this, IC-SAT100 uses the Iridium ® satellite network that covers the earth, including both poles, which provides a global wide area communication anywhere on the planet.

Emergency functions

Stay alert and informed with the convenient emergency key function. By holding the orange key on top of the radio, an emergency call will be sent to other preprogrammed radios. Users can also use the priority interruption function to transmit important messages.

AquaQuake ™

With an IP67 classification, this radius is water-resistant to 1 m deep for 30 minutes and dust-resistant. With the AquaQuake ™ function, be sure that the radio will remain internally dry. When using the AquaQuake ™ function, the radio vibrates and pushes the water out of the speaker's grid.

Secure communication

Contact with confidence with short data messages or PTT in the 256-bit AES secure encryption key.

In the use of buildings or vehicles

With the optional AH-40 antenna, the IC-SAT100 can be used inside vehicles. With the capacity of Bluetooth ®, operate with free hands while driving. To keep it mounted and fed, the BC-247 coupling station is required.

Interoperable display

The speaker's microphone has a screen and a button design similar to those of the IC-SAT100M. Change between portable and mobile units easily. The speaker's microphone screen also offers a multilingual function.
