Key features and technology
Ubiquiti Rocket M devices use the airMAX Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) proprietary protocol, which provides performance improvements in latency, performance and scalability with respect to standard Wi-Fi protocols by removing collisions of hidden nodes.
  • Processor and memory: powered by a 24 KC and 400 MHz MIPS Atheros processor with 64 MB of SDRAM and 8 MB of Flash memory.
  • Network interface: Includes an Ethernet 10 / 100 BASE-TX port. Some advanced models such as the Titanium series have a Gigabit Ethernet port.
  • antenna integration: Designed for perfect integration with Ubiquiti airMAX antennas (Sector, RocketDish, Omni, Yagi) through a built-in universal Rocket support, which does not require special tools for its installation.
  • Power method: It uses passive power through Ethernet (PoE), simplifying the installation with a single power and data cable.
  • Software: It runs on Ubiquiti airOS, which offers advanced configurations, routing functionality and spectrum analysis tools such as airView.
  • Durability: It has a strong cabinet designed to survive hostile outdoor environments and climate conditions, with the Titanium models housed in aeronautical quality aluminium.
  • Frequency options: Available in several frequency models (900 MHz, 2.4 GHz, 3 / 3.65 GHz and 5 GHz) to support different regional regulations and application needs.
