This series combines the power of a 800 MHz microprocessor, a 1280 x 960 pixel high resolution sensor and Zebra's exclusive PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology, which allows you to instantly capture problem bar codes, even those that are compact, poorly printed, wrinkled, discoloured, distorted, dirty or damaged, as well as electronic bar codes on low-shine screens. The scanning range is up to 24 inches (61 cm).
The series is available in wired (DS8108) and wireless (DS8178) versions, with 6.6 inches high x 2.6 inches wide x 4.2 inches deep for the cabling model and 8.3 inches deep for the presentation base. The weight of the wiring model is 5.4 oz (154 g), while the wireless weighs 8.3 oz (235.3 g).
