ICOM IC-SAT100 ICOM & IRIDIUM
ICOM IC-SAT100 Push-To-Talk (PTT) uses the Iridium network to provide coverage to users anywhere in the world. This two-way radio system can be used as a communication tool in remote and isolated areas without mobile phone or fixed network infrastructure. Please note that this device requires a monthly service plan to enable the service.
The Iridium satellite network covers the entire Earth, including both poles, and can provide global wide area communications anywhere on the planet. Using 66 low Earth orbit Iridium (LEO) satellites, IC-SAT100 provides low latency communication and wider and more reliable network coverage
The key «Orange» At the top of the radio is an emergency button. You can transmit an emergency call through a specific conversation group by pressing
and holding the button, like a PMR / MRL radio system.
